Baby Centre

Rosemarie Baby Centre understands how important milestones are and how children learn through play and exploration.

Our Baby Centre is a home away from home where we nurture, love and stimulate your little one. A happy child is a healthy child. At Rosemarie Baby Centre we believe in building solid foundations and looking at a child in a holistic manner.

Our schools are based on Christian principles and beliefs. We believe in creating a warm and loving environment where each child can grow and develop optimally.

Our classrooms are spacious and allow for exploration and sensory stimulation. Our playground has age appropriate equipment to aid in developing important gross motor skills as well as spatial awareness.

All members of staff are passionate and have received training on childcare development

Our Baby Centre is registred with all the relevant departments and is monitored by CCTV. Our Baby Centre is linked to a rapid armed response security company for safety and security.

Nursery School & Grade R

Childhood is a magical time for the child and parents alike. At Rosemarie Schools we understand the importance of development, we believe in developing children who have the ability to reach their cognitive potential.

Dr David Feuerstein, a child psychologist, once said that a child only needs three things to thrive:

• Who unlocks the world
• And gives it meaning

At Rosemarie Schools we believe these three things are evident in our staff, environment and curriculum.

Our staff and assistants are fully qualified and often attend courses to keep their knowledge and skill up to date.

Aftercare

Parents need peace of mind regarding where and what their child is doing after school. Rosemarie aftercare is a safe, well- supervised centre.

Homework is supervised on a daily basis and teachers help learners with projects and speeches.

During exams all learners attend study sessions that are supervised.

Learners receive a cooked lunch on arrival to the aftercare centre.

Fun filled holiday programme included in monthly fee.

Transport:

Our drivers have PDP licenses and collect learners timeously from local schools. Staff members accompany our drivers on a daily basis and roll call is completed in a register for safety reasons.

The school bus collects learners after extra murals. Last bus collects at 16:30. Last drop off at an extra mural, 16:00.

We transport learners to extra murals outside of school only in the Brackenhurst & Brackendowns area.

We are open during school holidays when learners participate in our holiday programme. The aftercare only closes over Christmas and New Year’s.
